Junior Deployment Coordinator – GSM/UMTS (Bratislava)

Job Description:

-       Planning and coordination of Installation and Commissioning (I&C) activities of mobile telecommunication network

-       management of subcontractor services

-       acting as Point-Of-Contact to the end customer (network operator)

-       receiving, registration and expenditure of hardware (software database system)

-       technical support of I&C processes, technical troubleshooting before/during the installation, technical documentation

-       Quality Management, deployment status tracking, reporting

-       Working closely with Project Manager on all above activities

You must have:

-       Good  understanding of telecom/IT, mostly GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS network architecture, interfaces

-       Good computer networking skills – Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing, FTP, Telnet, ping

-       Basic knowledge of the transport network and used technologies (E1, SDH/PDH, ATM, point-to-point radio links)


The ideal candidate will have:

-       Fresh graduate of FEI STU or similar (telecom, radio-electronics, IT)

-       Some previous work experience in IT/telecom (part-time or full-time)

-       Analytical skills and basic end-to-end “technical feeling” for troubleshooting


Personal Characteristics:

-       English – fluent speaking/writing (documentation, emails, conversation), Slovak – native speaker

-       Team player

-       Ability to adapt fast to changes, willing to learn. Ability to cope with changing requirements

-       We are looking primarily for technically oriented person, being able to handle the daily project management related tasks (tracking, coordination, etc.)


Academic Profile:

-       A degree in the Electronics, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, Radio Communication, Networking, Computer Science or Physics
